Powered by a swappable, non-rechargeable 7.2V, 2200 mAh Li-SOCl2 battery, the TAT240 achieves multi-year operational life optimized through configurable movement-based reporting and low power consumption sleep modes. It features 128 MB of internal flash memory for store-and-forward capabilities when signal coverage is lost.

The TAT240 supports remote configuration and firmware updates via FOTA WEB and USB (Teltonika Configurator), along with SMS and GPRS command-based configuration and debugging. It complies with CE/RED, E-Mark, RCM, UKCA, RoHS, and other regional certifications.
