The Ubiquiti UMR-Ultra is an ultra-compact managed LTE Cat 4 mobile router engineered for IoT, remote deployments, and small gateway applications demanding reliable and resilient connectivity. Featuring a nano-SIM LTE modem supporting up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speeds, it ensures seamless cellular WAN access. Two Fast Ethernet (FE) RJ45 ports offer wired connectivity, while an integrated WiFi 4 single-chain 2.4 GHz radio with external RP-SMA antenna extends local wireless coverage.

This device excels in uptime-critical environments by supporting automatic failover among LTE, wired WAN, and WiFi networks, ensuring consistent internet access. It provides robust security through site-to-site and VPN client routing with OpenVPN, WireGuard, and IPsec protocols. Management is flexible—accessible locally via Ethernet or WiFi or remotely through an optional Mobility Cloud subscription.

The UMR-Ultra is powered via USB Type-C (5 V DC/2 A) or a 4-pin DC input (9–30 V DC), consuming just 5.7 W max. Its rugged design supports a wide temperature range (−30 to 70 °C) and includes wall and DIN rail mounting options for versatile installation. External LTE and WiFi antennas are supported via dual SMA female and RP-SMA female connectors, respectively.
