Ubiquiti Instant PoE to USB Converter (INS-3AF-USB) converts standard 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) into a stable 5V DC USB power output, delivering up to 2A to power or charge USB devices without needing local AC power. This compact and lightweight adapter (Ø30.2 x 95.3 mm, 60 g) features a single RJ45 port for PoE input and one USB Type-A output port. It seamlessly integrates with auto-sensing 802.3af PoE switches, allowing remote power delivery and power cycling when combined with compatible PoE infrastructures.

Designed for versatility, the device powers a wide range of small USB-powered gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, USB cameras, and other peripherals in environments where traditional power sources are unavailable or inconvenient.

Key design highlights include ESD/EMP protection rated at ±8 kV air discharge and ±4 kV contact discharge to safeguard connected devices from electrical surges, and an ambient operating temperature range from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
