Featuring built-in directional high-gain antennas with approximately 120° horizontal beamwidth, the EAP650 provides focused and extended coverage ideal for aisle-specific or long-range outdoor connectivity. Its rugged IP67/IP68-rated waterproof enclosure and a wide operational temperature range (-30°C to +70°C) make it perfect for harsh and challenging environmental conditions.
The access point supports 802.11k/v/r seamless roaming allowing uninterrupted connectivity for mobile clients like AGVs and handheld scanners. Flexible deployment options include 802.3at PoE (PoE+) and passive 48V PoE, simplifying installation without the need for additional power sources.
Centralized network management is enabled via the Omada SDN platform—accessible through cloud controllers, hardware/software controllers, or the Omada app—allowing easy provisioning, monitoring, and control of multiple APs from a single interface. Furthermore, Omada Mesh technology supports wireless extension where cabling is unavailable.
Security is robust with WPA3 encryption, captive portal authentication, 802.1x support, and options such as VLAN and SSID isolation to safeguard your network.
