This router supports dual SIM cards plus an integrated consumer-type eSIM with up to 7 downloadable profiles, enabling automatic failover and network switching based on signal quality, data limits, roaming status, and more.

Wireless connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wave 2) delivering up to 867 Mbps throughput with enterprise-grade security features such as WPA2/WPA3 and 802.1x authentication, supporting up to 150 concurrent Wi-Fi users plus roaming and mesh capabilities.

Equipped with a full GNSS suite (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS) for precise location tracking and fleet management integration through Teltonika RMS and TAVL platforms, it promotes efficient on-site and remote monitoring.

Powered by RutOS—an OpenWrt-based operating system—the ATRM50 offers extensive routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, NHRP), VPN support, mobile network diagnostics, and customization via an SDK and package manager.

Safety and reliability are paramount with certifications to EN 45545-2 and EN 50155 railway standards, a wide voltage input range (9–50 VDC), reverse polarity and surge protection. The product ships without a PSU, featuring an M12 power connector suitable for vehicle power systems.

Additional features include ignition detection inputs, microSD support up to 2 TB, USB 2.0 port, and telemetry/event I/O for comprehensive data management.
