The Antec Nova Black 120 PWM Fan features an advanced three-phase PWM speed controller that offers three selectable speed modes (Low/Medium/High) suitable for various hardware environments. The fan can stop completely when the PWM signal is below 6%, ensuring energy efficiency and quiet operation.
Equipped with a powerful three-phase six-pole drive motor, the Nova fan delivers greater torque, improved startup performance, and reduced noise and vibration through minimized mechanical friction and electromagnetic interference. This precise PWM closed-loop design with speed compensation maintains consistent performance regardless of airflow resistance.
Built with industrial-grade components, including a metal shaft for enhanced structural strength and a strong neodymium magnet positioned to mitigate centrifugal displacement, the fan ensures stable rotation and minimal vibration during high-speed operation.
The fan’s dustproof internal structure protects the drive electronics from contaminants, extending the lifespan to an impressive 50,000 hours at 40°C. The hexadecagon fan frame with geometric ribs and recessed corners enhances rigidity and reduces resonance. Eight anti-vibration rubber pads further decrease noise and vibration.
Featuring 9 CFD-designed curved blades with minimal clearance (0.5 ±0.1 mm) to optimize airflow and static pressure, the fan is constructed entirely from Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) for superior heat dissipation, durability, and low noise.
